Le 12 mars 2011 se tiendra la cérémonie des Excellence in Music and Entertainment (EME) Awards à Kingston. La septième édition de ces récompenses voit la domination de Mavado et Vybz Kartel qui comptent chacun six nominations.
Kartel est ainsi nommé dans les catégories "Deejay of the Year", "Song of the Year" (deux nominations avec Clarks et Dumper Truck), "Album of the Year" ("Pon di Gaza 2.0"), "Collaboration of the Year" (Clarks feat. Popcaan & Gaza Slim), et enfin "International Artiste of the Year".
Mavado est lui deux fois nommé pour les categories "Song of the Year" (Stulla, Mad Over), et "Collaboration of the Year" (Come into My Room feat. Stacious et My Heartfeat Wayne Marshall). Il est également nommé dans les catégories "Singjay of the Year" et "International Artiste of the Year".
